Sifu El (Josiah Owens) is a dedicated creative artist, mentor, and martial artist committed to uplifting communities through the fusion of art and physical discipline. With over seven years of intensive training in Shaolin Gong Fu, he has studied under Shifu Yanjun, a 34th-generation Shaolin monk from the Shaolin Temple of Yunnan, China. His expertise in Meihuia Quan has provided him with deep insights into strength, flexibility, mobility, health, and longevity.
In addition to his Shaolin Gong Fu practice, Sifu El is also a student and practitioner of the Shen Tao Patient Tiger Kung Fu system, training under the esteemed guidance of Sifu Loyd in the United States. His approach to martial arts extends beyond physical training; he embraces a holistic philosophy that nurtures mental clarity, emotional resilience, and self empowerment.
Beyond his martial arts journey, Sifu El is a devoted mentor for at-risk youth, dedicating
countless hours to volunteering and guiding young individuals toward a brighter future. He
believes in the transformative power of mentorship, using it as a tool to inspire the next
generation to unlock their potential and navigate life with confidence and integrity. helping individuals make healthy lifestyle choices that align with their unique personal journeys.

His training in Muay Thai—the “Art of Eight Limbs”—brings a powerful blend of technique, tradition, and intensity to his teaching style, emphasizing striking with fists, elbows, knees, and shins.
As an accomplished amateur fighter and dedicated trainer, Tyrik combines practical combat skills with a deep understanding of martial arts philosophy. At Peaceeco, his mission is clear: to uplift and equip his students with the tools they need to excel in both martial arts and life. Through structured training, mentorship, and a strong sense of community, Tyrik inspires his students to embrace discipline, resilience, and purpose—both in and out of the gym.
